Opposed to hard truths, the Democrats' governing body operates more like a communications shop rather than a political organization focused on cultivating local power capable of prevailing at the polls.

An Environment of Conformity

Hesitant to depart from the prevailing attitude of conformity, the DNC has remained within that legacy throughout 2025. Publishing an official autopsy might have shown that party leaders are interested to encourage open debate regarding the strategic failures that enabled Donald Trump to win re-election. However, the DNC is proceeding as if there is little to understand following the tragic debacle from the last cycle.
